Little known outside Africa the Nyungwe Nationalpark is one of Africa´s biggest and oldest rainforests. It is located in Ruanda, the safest country in Africa, at the border to Congo. In this middle of nowhere bold and demanding travellers find a five-star luxury hotel surrounded by the beautiful working Gisakura teaplantation. It is operated by the One-and-Only-Luxury-hotel chain and has 22 rooms in 6 villas plus two suites. Its a very special five star experience in the jungle and could be a James Bond location. (round trip, business class, from London): Egypt air offers the cheapest Business class round trip (one stopover) but no flat seats. Qatar Airways offers the best business class on this route but two stopovers. From Kigali limousine transfer to the hotel (five hours)

Go for the Chimps!
Nyungwe National Park is home to chimpanzees and monkeys. Experienced guides lead through the rainforest.

Go for gorillas!
In another part of Ruanda, the Vulconoes National Park live 340 gorilllas and 300 species of birds. One and only runs another property there, the Gorillas Nest. From Kigali airport it is a 2,5 hours SUV ride or a 25 minutes helicopter flight. From Nyungwe House to the Gorilla`s Nest it takes a 45 minutes helicopter flight.

Teens yes, kids not really. Nyungwe house means: jungle hikes or enjoying the tranquility.
Highly expensive, but absolutely worth it if you can afford it.
More than five hours car drive in a posh limousine with a driver from Kigali to the hotel (helicopter available).
