If your are looking for a small 25 rooms and suites boutique hotel right in the center of Taormina with a great view the Metropole is a good option.The Mediterranean sea, to be precise the Bay of Naxos, is lapping on one side, the town’s central street, the Corso Umberto, for evening passeggiate and gelati, on the other. After four decades of sitting derelict in the heart of town, the family-owned Hotel in a 13th century building celebrated a rebirth in 2010.
