Is the Seabourn Encore really a “six stars” ship?
Suites only. Balconies only. Personalized service (meaning a butler for each cabin). No supplemental charges for any restaurant on board. Free Watersports activities at the ship`s own marina at the back of the vessel. And most of all: a maximum of 604 passengers!
The Seabourn Encore really offers a maximum of luxury to its passengers. The smallest suite boasts 24 squaremeters (258 squarefeet) and an elegant design by renowned designer Adam D. Tihany. The nautical-themed, ultra-luxury suite design is typical for a boutique hotel and incorporates mahogany wood, fine fabrics, marble bathrooms, roomy closets, a comfortable lounge and sleeping areas and mini-bars (fully–stocked with wines, spirits, bottled water, soft drink and beer, replenished upon request). The service is excellent: Your butler will serve breakfast, lunch or dinner in the cabin if desired. We were blown away by the fact that you could order a portion of genuine caviar for free.In general food on board is delicious. Afternoon tea is fine but there is room for improvement (more british refinement please!).
The Seabourn Encore is one out of five luxury ships of the Sebourn Cruise line, a subsidary of the British-American Carnival Corporation. All ships were built in Italy, the Encore 2016 at Fincantieri, Europe´s biggest shipbuilding company. The vessel is 210 meter long, 28 meter broad and has 10 decks. The language on board is english.
All in all highly recommendable.
Indicative – subject to change.
